PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR THE EURASIA PROJECT, BENGALURU, INDIA

The people here are very professional, know their job and are hardworking. It is a wonderful experience so far.

I am working as a project coordinator for the Eurasia Project at the Bengaluru site since September 2019. My role is to coordinate the analytical development projects (method development/validation/transfer & stability) between our sites in Europe and the Bengaluru site. I have to make sure that we respect the timelines, complete all of the preliminary activities before receiving the samples, handle the meetings with the customer, manage the invoicing and so on.

India is a beautiful country, with a lot of great places to explore and very welcoming people.

It was a great challenge to start in this position, in a foreign country with a culture totally different from mine and in an unknown industrial environment. I know, now, that I can quickly integrate myself in a company, in a new position and handle the tasks assigned to me. For me, communication and mutual respect were the keys to successfully adapting to and working in India.

Although this was not my first working experience, the pharmaceutical field was new to me. I have learnt a lot this past year about it, and especially about analytical method development & validation, drug development processes, stability analysis & conditions. I still have a lot to learn, and this final year coming up will be an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge.

Moldons Pharmaceuticals UK has values that match with mine: Tenacity, Reliability, Professionalism & Entrepreneurship. Hence, it was easy for me to adapt myself in the company. Furthermore, I really appreciate the recruitment process and the integration I had in two of our French sites (Pessac and Monts), before coming to India. It was a great way to make me discover the company and have a first contact with my future colleagues.

The first few days, it was difficult to adapt to this new country as everything is different: the traffic, the language, way of life… During the first days in my new job, a new laboratory in the analytical department was inaugurated. It was a Puja ritual where a lot of offerings and prayers were made to the Hindu gods. It was very interesting to watch this ceremony and a nice introduction to Indian culture. Soon, I realized that India is a beautiful country with a lot of great places to explore and very welcoming people. The biggest similarity I have found is in the work environment. The people here are very professional, know their job and are hardworking. It is a wonderful experience so far.
